Refreshing spinach berry smoothie with only 184 calories per serving.
How was your long holiday weekend? With only three days to go until another weekend, this is the perfect time for quick, simple and healthy meals that will help you make it till Friday with as little effort and time spent in the kitchen as possible. This delicious smoothie bowl is packed with vitamins and takes less than ten minutes to make - it is, after all, a smoothie bowl.
What’s So Great about a Smoothie Bowl?
I would take a smoothie bowl over a regular smoothie any day. Both can be ready in just minutes and adjusted to your specific needs (mix and match to your liking to get the deliciousness-health ratio you want), but eating it with a spoon for me just adds that feeling of enjoying a proper meal. While a regular smoothie is great on the go, I like to enjoy a nice, thick smoothie bowl when I’m home, relaxing on the sofa.
Which Toppings Are Perfect for a Spinach Berry Smoothie Bowl?
In a nutshell: all of them. My personal favourites include:
- Sliced banana
- Frozen berries
- Chia seeds
- Unsweetened coconut shavings
- Goji berries
If you want to make your smoothie bowl really pretty (you know what I mean), this will obviously take another five or ten minutes. But if I’m perfectly honest, I don’t really get the hype.
Which brings me to my final point about toppings: do you stir them in or eat them first? I’m definitely the no stirring kind of type, eating all the crunchy bits first.

I love the flavours in this and it looks amazing too! I think chia seeds are always so good on top of a smoothie bowl and frozen berries are great.
