Ingredients

  • ½ cup dates, soaked
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • cup walnuts
  • cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • Optional toppings: shredded coconut, cocoa powder, chopped nuts

Instructions

  • Blend the dates, cocoa powder and walnuts in a food processor until a smooth paste forms.
  • Place the paste in a medium bowl, add shredded coconut and mix well.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic foil and refrigerate it for about 2 hours, until firm.
  • Shape the dough into 12 balls. Roll the balls in shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or chopped nuts.
